Description
The new pedestrian signal on forest hill ave at crossroads coffee is obscured by tree branches when driving west on forest hill. Vehicles speeding through the forest hill/Roanoke intersection towards semmes cannot see if the pedestrian signal is on. It's already a dangerous intersection. Someone will get hit in the new crosswalk. Triming 1 particular tree on school/park side of the road, near the bridge, whose branches overhang the road should improve visibility.

- Staff · November 25, 2025Investigation of this request finds a good deal of merit. Tree is a sycamore on public prop. Large leaves & branches grow horizontally over FHA, right across the signal. When the tree is leafed-out, the signal is certainly invisible. See photo
- Staff · November 25, 2025Ref. TEng for evaluation. (NOTE - 'driving west on Forest Hill' should read 'driving East')
