Description
Please consider a speed camera enforcement system or a button that would create flashing lights when a pedestrian crosses Chamberlayne at Westminster. This is an intersection that is on the way to two schools and is at a bus stop, I cross this area at least twice a day to go to and from the YMCA and sometimes it is almost impossible because the traffic consistently exceeds the speed limit.

Questions about the program can be directed to their non-emergency number: 804-646-5100. A rapid flashing beacon is not an appropriate treatment for this location. However, opportunities to improve mobility for all road users in this area will be addressed with our upcoming Pedestrian Master Plan.
