Description

Traffic turning right onto northbound Chamberlayne from westbound Westwood do not yield to families and students crossing on the sidewalks across Chamberlayne walking to and from Holton and other schools. This intersection could at least use a “Yield to Pedestrians In Sidewalk” signs on Westwood going east and west.

    DMV has no reported pedestrian crashes between 1.1.17 and 12.31.24 on Chamberlayne Ave and Westwood Ave. This signalized intersection has pedestrian walk signal indications and ladder bar type crosswalks on each intersection leg. Pedestrian warning signs are not currently planned.
