Description

Across V Street from the Church, there is a clump of bushes and small trees on public property (the Fairmount Pool property). This is at the corner of V Street and N 21st. In recent months the growth has encouraged unauthorized gathering and even camping on public property, with the associated trash accumulation. Volunteers from the church have been picking up the trash, but we would like the bushes removed for security so that the behavior will hopefully stop. Thank you! --- Mrs. Dowling

Spoke with requestor to confirm location. There does not appear to be any reason for the clump of bushes, other than a section of fence buried within. Years of mowing around the fence probably allowed wild bushes and vines to grow and gradually expand. Referred to Grounds Maintenance
