Description
There is a huge speeding problem on Halifax avenue to and from Richmond Highway. I was almost hit by a speeding car and my neighbor’s car was hit and abanoned due to this. I’m requesting a speed control assessment and speed bump or other speed controls be installed.

- Staff · October 8, 2025The average speed on Halifax Ave between Richmond Hwy and E. 17th St ranged from 14mph – 19mph in the 25mph zone. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets. A speed table exists along Halifax Ave between Mason St and 22nd St. No additional traffic calming measures are currently planned.
