- Staff · October 6, 2025Thank you for reporting the signs placed in the public right of way near 5501 Midlothian Turnpike. Our inspector re-checked the location today and at the time of inspection, no signs were present in the ROW. We have issued written direction to the business stating that signs may not be placed in the public right of way, including sidewalks, parking lanes, and the center median. The business has been advised that any notice should be confined to private property and must not encroach into the sidewalk or street, obstruct sight lines, ADA routes, or fire egress. We will continue periodic checks, and any unpermitted signs found in the ROW are subject to removal. If you observe the signs return, please reply with the date/time, a brief description of the exact spot, and a photo if possible so we can respond promptly.
