Description

The new speed bump/crosswalk on Thompson includes the necessary signage, but does NOT include the white triangle on the facing side of the bump to provide an additional visual cue. All other speed bumps have this marking, even those that are crosswalks and have white crosswalk hatching. This is a busy street where people tend to speed. I believe the lack of this necessary visual cue represents a hazard and a departure from the city's SOP
