Our investigation found that this activity is part of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) Project, which is authorized under Work in Street Permit (WISP) #154243-2025. While the work and restrictions are permitted, the signage posted by the contractor did not meet City requirements. The contractor has been directed to make the necessary corrections to the signs so they display the proper permit information and comply with Right of Way standards. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your report helped us ensure that even authorized projects maintain compliance with City posting requirements.
