Description

Numerous trucks are going above the 25 mph speed limit at various times of the day and night. Children have almost been hit due to speeding cars. If no response to this request, it will be escalated. Thanks!

    Augusta Ave between Staples Mill and Antrim stops at Staples Mill, Chantilly, Blacker, Westmoreland, Commonwealth, Shenandoah and Antrim. The average speed on Augusta between Staples Mill and Antrim ranged between 7 mph and 16 mph. The speed samples (all vehicle classifications) show general compliance with the 25-mph speed zone. Traffic calming measures are not planned on Augusta.
