Description
If you're driving down from 21st towards the circle and enter the circle you have the right of way over someone coming north on Jefferson, however, drivers on Jefferson speed and act as if they have the right of way because they're travelling faster and in a "straight" path despite vehicles already being in the circle. Either signage or better traffic calming needs to be installed. There's a current request in the RVA 311 App since 2023 asking for help because pedestrians are in constant danger

- Staff · November 20, 2025The intersection currently has yield signs installed at all intersections of the roundabout. The driver is to yield to all vehicles in the roundabout. Crash data has shown there have been no serious crashes since 2022. No changes will be implemented at this time.
