Comments
- Staff · September 9, 2025Our office has reviewed the matter and contacted the business owner. They have confirmed that they will be submitting a Sidewalk Café Permit application, along with the required layout and insurance documentation, to bring the outdoor dining area into compliance with City standards. In the meantime, the business has been reminded that A minimum 48-inch continuous pedestrian path must be maintained at all times in accordance with ADA/PROWAG accessibility requirements. All furniture and planters must remain within the limits of the approved café footprint once their permit is finalized. We will continue to monitor the location through our permitting and inspection process to ensure compliance moving forward. Thank you again for reporting this issue and helping us keep the City’s public right-of-way safe and accessible.
