Description
I witnessed a forklift drive on the sidewalk and break through an access panel in the sidewalk. It is located on the east side of the street in front of 1105 N. Arthur Ashe Boulevard. The hole is creating a real hazard for pedestrians. I reported this to PUBLIC WORKS, specifically, ISHOC SALAAM, on 6/10/2024 (over a year ago). The contruction company has left town and there is still a giant hole in the sidewalk.

- Staff · November 1, 2025This location was inspected on 11/01/25. There is a missing dpu cover on meter in the sidewalk. There is a barrel over the sidewalk to make safe. This should be sent to Public Utilities Department. This location will be repaired with the rating system and the safety hazard concerns.
