Description
There is not a speed bump nor stop sign for over 1200 feet from Oakwood all the way to 30th street. This exceeds the minimum requirement. Please put a speed bump here ASAP! There are so many children here already who have had near misses with fast drivers, elderly people at the church, and other vehicles. Keep in mind its only going to get wirse not better when the restaurant and bar open soon. The mini mart already made these incidents more frequent.

- Staff · September 12, 2025The Department of Public Works must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to public travel. P St as it intersects with N. 30th St, N. 31st, N. 32nd and N. 33rd St were reviewed. None of the intersections meet the MUTCD traffic volume requirements for all-way stops. The speed on P St between Chimborazo Blvd and N. 29th St ranged between 16mph and 23mph in the 25mph zone. (The average speed measured 20mph.) Speed tables are not currently planned.
