Description
Please put in a speed bump! The city does not want any deaths on its hands at this intersection and its unfortunately coming because of this intersection. There are kids and now even more traffic at this section because of the restaurant and mini mart here. All of the neighbors agree. We just had yet another accident here yesterday evening which turned into a hit and run. Please reconsider 2 speed bumps this is a massive stretch of road unrestricted which is contuing to cause serious accidents.

- Staff · September 12, 2025The Department of Public Works must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. This is a federal publication that applies to all streets open to public travel. P St as it intersects with N. 30th St, N. 31st, N. 32nd and N. 33rd St were reviewed. None of the intersections meet the MUTCD traffic volume requirements for all-way stops. The speed on P St between Chimborazo Blvd and N. 29th St ranged between 16mph and 23mph in the 25mph zone. (The average speed measured 20mph.) Speed tables are not currently planned.
