Description
Cars rarely stop at the cross walk at the intersection of malvern and west grace st. There have been several incidences where Thomas Jefferson students have almost been hit, and overall it’s a dangerous intersection for being so heavily used! It would be great to have a light that you could push for pedestrians to cross.

- Staff · August 22, 2025The DMV crash database for the latest eight full years (1.1.17– 12.31.24) did not show any reported pedestrian crashes near Malvern Ave and W. Grace St. A pedestrian signal is a capital expense and not in the adopted FY26 City Budget. Currently crosswalks and school crossing warning signs are present on Malvern Ave at W. Grace St.
