Description
Intersection of Allen and Cary St. Allen already goes back against traffic heading North. This is a dangerous intersection for pedestrians and drivers. Especially because there is a high foot traffic business on the corner (Nate’s Bagels).

- Staff · August 19, 2025DMV shows no reported pedestrian cashes on W. Cary St at S. Allen Ave for the latest eight years (1.1.17-12.31.24). Pedestrian crosswalks exist on Cary St at the west connection with Allen Ave. Parking is restricted on Cary on the north curb approximately 30‘ upstream of the crosswalk to enhance intersection sight distance for pedestrians crossing Cary. No further actions are currently planned to improve pedestrian safety at this intersection.
