People use Granite as a shortcut past the light at Libbie and Patterson, frequently flying northbound down Granite at 45+mph.

    The average speed on Granite Ave between the Henrico County line and Patterson Ave measured 12 mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
