Thank you for your recent 311 submission regarding the Bryan Park Criterium races at 4308 Hermitage Road. You reported that the trail was being blocked off prior to the permitted event hours of 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., making it difficult for pedestrians to access the trail. After review, this matter has been referred to the City of Richmond Department of Parks and Recreation, as they are the permitting and oversight authority for events within Bryan Park. They have been provided with the details of your complaint and will review the matter to ensure the permit is being utilized properly and in accordance with its approved conditions. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and helping us maintain accessibility in our public spaces. If you observe similar issues in the future, please feel free to submit another 311 request so it can be addressed promptly. Best regards, Elijah Hatchett
