Comments
- Staff · July 29, 2025Our inspection team investigated the site and made contact with the project manager responsible for the adjacent construction. It was confirmed that the current work is taking place on private property, and there are no active permits in the City’s system for use of the public right-of-way at this time. The barrels in question were reportedly placed to deter vehicles from blocking access to the site’s driveway entrance. The contractor has been advised to coordinate directly with the City’s Parking Division to request proper “No Parking” signage, should access continue to be an issue. We will continue to monitor the location as needed to ensure compliance with City code and right-of-way regulations. If you observe any additional concerns or changes to the conditions at this location, please don’t hesitate to reach out or submit another request through RVA311. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
