Upon investigation, I conducted a site visit and located the cone in question. It appears to be situated within the front yard of the property and outside of the public right-of-way, which places it on private property. Underneath the cone is a utility access point—likely a valve box or monitoring cap—with no visible signs of excavation or hazard. The cone may have been placed informally to mark or protect the utility feature. As this is located on private property and does not appear to pose a safety issue within the public right-of-way, no further action is required from our office at this time. However, if you observe any changes or if additional concerns arise, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you again for your vigilance in helping to keep our community safe.
