Thank you again for bringing your concerns to our attention regarding the mulch and debris operation near 3800 and 3810 Belt Boulevard. Following your report, I conducted a site review and coordinated with the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) and other relevant divisions to assess the conditions. Based on initial observations, it appears that multiple regulatory concerns may be involved, including potential stormwater management violations, lack of appropriate permits, and possible business compliance issues. The matter has been referred to the appropriate departments—including DPU's Pretreatment and Illicit Discharge teams, as well as Property Maintenance and Code Enforcement—for further investigation. They will be reviewing the operation for compliance with land disturbance, stormwater, and zoning regulations, and taking appropriate enforcement action if violations are found. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and work with partner agencies to ensure that any issues are addressed in accordance with City regulations. If you have any additional information or photos you’d like to share, please feel free to do so. Thank you again for your vigilance and for helping us maintain safe and compliant public spaces.
