Description
Since living here (217 S Arthur Ashe Blvd) August 1st 2024 I have personally witnessed 3 car accidents for persons turning left from Grayland onto Arthur Ashe Blvd. I have also seen debris from at least 2-3 more accidents that I wasn't there to witness. Visibility plays a major role for those involved in an accident, you simply cannot see oncoming traffic to your left. This becomes exceedingly dangerous when turning left since you need to blindly pull across two lanes of traffic.

- Staff · July 9, 2025The Manual for Uniformed Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) contains the national standards governing all traffic control devices. All public agencies with roads open to public travel across the nation rely on the MUTCD to bring uniformity to the roadway. A convex mirror is not a traffic control device and not installed by the Dept of Public Works.
