- Staff · July 25, 2025DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of North Ave / Hazelhurst Ave and Pilots Lane does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. This intersection has ‘intersection ahead’ warning signs on the free-flow street and ‘stop ahead’ sigs on the stopped streets.
