Description
People speed on our street constantly. My car was hit for a second time on Friday. This time the axle was broken. In the same event, my husband’s car was totaled. Other neighbors have also been hit more than once. PLEASE help us out. We have elderly people, autistic people and toddlers who live on this block. There is no stop sign nor speed bump for three full blocks.

Comments
- Staff · June 16, 2025Cityworks ID: 559090
- Staff · June 17, 2025The Department of Public Works (DPW) must perform an engineering study in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Bancroft Ave and Wellington St does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop. The intersection of Bancroft Ave and Napoleon St also does not currently meet the traffic volume requirements for an all-way stop.
