Description

N 31st at Nine Mile Rd is angled at such a way that a left turn is very difficult due to both the angle and the flow of traffic that makes a left onto 31st to go South. This backs up northbound traffic. There are other ways to make a left onto Nine Mile from other streets like 30th, 28th, etc… We should prohibit a left turn at that intersection and only allow vehickes to make a right hand turn onto Nine Mile

Details

Turn restrictions are not currently planned at the intersection of Nine Mile Rd and 31st St. DMV had no reported crashes for the latest three-year period (1.1.22 – 12.31.24). The traffic signal at Nine Mile Rd and Creighton Rd should provide some gaps for left turning vehicles.
