Description
Traffic on 18th Street speeds frequently, making it dangerous for pedestrians to cross the street. It also makes it difficult for traffic to safely make the left turn from Clay Street to 18th Street. We witnessed an accident at this intersection yesterday, and it seemed like the car on 18th Street may have been speeding. We have noticed that speed bumps have been installed in various parts of the city and think speed bumps on 18th Street would improve safety in our neighborhood.

- Staff · June 2, 202518th St in this area is US Route 360, a Principal Urban Arterial and carries about 5,000 vehicles a day. The Fire Marshall does not support speed tables given this strategic route for emergency vehicles.
