Description
Hi, years ago the city cut down all the historic, old growth oak trees on Overbrook Rd. I assume because of the power lines. They were replaced with dwarf or shrubby red crepe myrtles that are quite ugly, difficult to maintain, non-native, and provide very little shade. Between each one of these atrocities, could you please plant something that provides more shade, is native, prettier, and easier to maintain like an eastern redbud? They will not interfere with the powerlines as they are short.
