Description

Cars speed down the 500 & 400 blocks of W Marshall Street, many do not stop at the STOP SIGN at the intersection of W Marshall & N Monroe: requesting consideration of a speed table/tables on W Marshall between the 500 & 200 blocks to slow down traffic.

    The average speed on Marshall St between Belvidere St and Monroe St measured 16 mph. The samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned. Marshall St at Monroe St has two “stop ahead” signs, two “stop” signs and a stop bar. No changes are planned. Contact the Richmond Police Department (804.646.5100) to report vehicles running stop signs.
