Description

A new accessibible curb ramp was recently installed here. However it is one directional and tbe ramp takes the user in the wrong direction, to the side of the street that has NO sidewalk. This is very dangerous, especially for a wheelchair user. Please remove these one directional ramps and install two directional ramps so people can cross the road in either direction. The type of ramp has a very narrow design that is also creating a serious trip hazard. Please stop work immediately.

This location was inspected on 5-12-2025. Because there is a stop sign on W Lancaster Rd, but no traffic control indicating to drivers to stop or yield to pedestrians on Fendall Ave, handicap ramps were only installed to cross W Lancaster Rd. A handicap ramp was installed at the corner of the park to provide access to the park, even though there is no sidewalk. All handicap ramps at this intersection are ADA compliant.
