Description
Cars are constantly speeding up and down Union. Adding additional stop signs at the intersection with Godin to create a four-way stop would substantially increase pedestrian safety.

- Staff · May 15, 2025DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of Union St and Goddin St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. The average speed on Union St measured 15mph between Williamsburg Rd and Mt Erin Dr. The samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
