Description

There is currently a one way stop sign that people run through. A three way stop sign is needed to cut down the speed of people driving on Exeter. There are lots of children playing at the church and that intersection is dangerous. A three way stop sign would help or speed bumps

DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. The intersection of Exeter Rd and Oxford Rd/ Oxford Circle does not meet the MUTCD traffic requirements for an all-way stop. Speed samples were taken on Exeter Rd between Cary St and Oxford Rd. The average speed measured 20mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned. Contact the Richmond Police Department at 804.646.5100 when you notice someone running a stop sign.
