Description
Traffic lights at S. 2nd St./E. Byrd St. and S. 2nd St./E. Canal St. are timed very poorly during afternoon/evening rush-hour and need to be extended. Lights do not stay green long enough to allow for cars to get through smoothly. Traffic backs up past Brown’s Island Way. That area of E. Byrd St. was recently reduced to one lane, which is making the traffic worse. It is also where the new amphitheater is located, which will cause even more traffic in the near future.
