Description

A yellow marking on the curb to show how far you can park from a stop sign or hydrant would be great, many other cities do this and in the fan is near impossible trying to turn out onto a main street and look for traffic. Its crazy how bad the visibility is for drivers who are trying to make turns and cant see because cars park to the corners. This is already a rule for the city that the distance from a corner is 30’, would be great to see a marker on the curb and this enforced.

It is not the Department of Public Works (DPW) practice to install white edge lines to delineate parking areas. Give DPW the intersections where you have intersection sight distance concerns and we will review for other options.
