Description

The sidewalk (1900 block New York Ave) on the side of the home, is upheaded due to tree roots. It poses a significant trip hazard to pedestrians. A wheelchair or stroller cannot safely use the sidewalk. This 60’x5’ area of sidewalk was previously inspected by the City in Dec 2023. With pedestrian traffic from people going to Maymont activities (esp. at night), this sidewalk is very dangerous. Please repair this section of sidewalk before someone falls and is injured.
