Description
Between February 13 and 16, a tree fell on the power lines. When it was cut to be removed, the cut portion of the tree fell on my property. The chain link fence was damaged. The maintenance of these trees and fence are the responsibility of the city (since the completion of the Chippenham Parham Rd Connector). Please remove your tree of my property. Also, want the chain linked fence repaired. There is another place the fence needs repaired (a car came hit it last year). Thank you for your help.

- Staff · April 21, 2025The Urban Forestry Division does not clear utility lines nor private property; property owners are responsible for clearing debris from fallen trees. The tree was most likely cut by a Dominion Energy contractor. -Request to repair fence will need to be resubmitted to appropriate division
