Description
A 4 way stop sign would make this intersection safer. I have seen many near misses as drivers think this is a 4 way stop intersection and it would make it easier for drivers on Shepard to cross Kensington. Almost every other intersection on Kensington has either a stop sign or a traffic light.

- Staff · April 16, 2025DPW must perform engineering studies in accordance with the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) before installing an all-way stop. All all-way stops must meet the warrants in the MUTCD. The intersection of Kensington Ave and Sheppard St does not meet the traffic requirements for an all-way stop. No Parking signs are present on Kensington Ave on both curbs at Sheppard St to enhance intersection sight distance for vehicles.
