Description

Corner MacArthur Ave & Laburnum Ave at 1500 W. Laburnum. I'v reported this pot/sinkhole 4X. Caused by a water meter leak that went unrepaired for MONTHS. The soil is super-saturated with water & caused this hole to start/grow (down to the gravel underneath the pavement). Chunks of pavement fly up out of the hole. A chunk of that pavement could fly up and hit a pedestrian on the sidewalk. I have a photo of a huge hunk flung 10 feet away from the hole! Constant NOISE! Shakes my house/neighbors!
