Description
Aggressive drivers constantly take shortcuts on Lanvale from Laburnum Avenue to either go to Westwood Avenue or Hermitage. A speed control is needed on Lanvale to force drivers to slow down and not run through the posted stop sign at the intersection which puts many pedestrians in danger. This happens numerous times a day with reckless drivers, especially around rush hour. Your help and consideration would be greatly appreciated.

- Staff · April 11, 2025Lanvale Ave between Westwood Ave and Laburnum Ave must stop at Westwood Ave, Elmsmere Ave, Wilmington Ave and Laburnum Ave. A speed table exists between Seddon Rd and Maple Shade Lane. The average speed samples between Westwood Ave and Laburnum Ave for a typical weekday measured 16mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and additional speed tables are not planned at this time.
