Description
A road "bump" type speed control is needed as many drivers use Stratford Road as a cut-through from/to Chippenham and pass at accelerated speeds. Danger from injury to life and landscaping especially increases in warmer weather as neighbors, often with children and/or pets, frequently walk down this road, as well as wildlife (deer, etc.). In recent years a control was added to this section of Stratford Road nearer Cherokee, but that has not deterred speeding along the end nearer Marilea.
