Description
Already narrow sidewalk/building area obstructed sidewalk narrowed by open tree well (no grate) and buidling standpipe/sprinkler assembly. Tree removal and brick replacement may be the simplest solution.

- Staff · March 17, 2025An inspector has visited this location; we understand that the sidewalk is narrow at this location but the City is not in favor of removing an otherwise healthy tree; the City is in need of additional tree canopy. In situations such as this, it would be expected upon a future redevelopment of the property, the City would request that the property owner dedicate additional public right-of-way for widening the sidewalk.
