Description
Intersection had a light installed when there was a school at the intersection. The school is no longer there. The traffic light has created a situation in which drivers speed up the "catch" the light causing a hazard for other vehicles and pedestrians

- Staff · August 22, 2025Thank you for your message regarding the traffic signal at Kensington Ave & N Belmont Ave. We conducted a traffic signal warrant analysis and determined that the signal is no longer warranted. The signal will be removed and replaced with all-way stop control (four stop signs) to improve safety. As no further action is needed at this time, this request will be closed.
