Description

Intersection had a light installed when there was a school at the intersection. The school is no longer there. The traffic light has created a situation in which drivers speed up the "catch" the light causing a hazard for other vehicles and pedestrians

    Sayed, please conduct a study to determine if intersection still warranted.

    Thank you for your message regarding the traffic signal at Kensington Ave & N Belmont Ave. We conducted a traffic signal warrant analysis and determined that the signal is no longer warranted. The signal will be removed and replaced with all-way stop control (four stop signs) to improve safety. As no further action is needed at this time, this request will be closed. Thank you for helping us maintain safe roadways.
