- Staff · March 13, 2025The “stop for pedestrian” signs that were placed in the middle of the street at strategic intersections are no longer being installed at this time due to the many sign knockdowns. Other pedestrian crossing type signs will be installed on a case-by-case basis. The DMV crash data (1.1.16– 12.31.24) did not reveal any reported pedestrian crashes at the intersection of Main St and Shields Ave. Additional pedestrian crossing signs are not planned. The intersection of Main St and Shields Ave has crosswalk markings on each intersection leg.
