Description

Cars are speeding down Idlewood Ave between Freeman Road and McCloy Street. Idlewood is wide and it is a thoroughfare for access to Carytown and 195/Powhite

    The 85th percentile speed* sample on Idlewood Ave between McCloy St and Freeman Rd measured 25mph. The samples are in good with the 25-mph posted speed. No traffic calming measures are currently planned. (*The 85th percentile speed is the speed at or below which 85 percent of the drivers will operate with open roads and favorable conditions. The assumption underlying the 85th percentile speed is that most drivers will operate their vehicle at speeds they perceive to be safe.)
