- Staff · March 6, 2025Cary St is posted at 25mph. Crosswalks exist on Cary St and on Crenshaw Ave. Curb extensions also exist on the north side of Cary St so pedestrians have a shorter walk to cross Cary St. DMV crash records do not show any reported pedestrian crashes for the last five years. I understand that “yield to pedestrian” signs or “stop for pedestrian” signs that were placed in the middle of the street at strategic intersections are no longer being installed at this time due to the many sign knockdowns. Pedestrian flashers are a capital improvement and not in the adopted budget. No further actions are planned at this time.
