Description
There was nearly an accident at P and 33rd this morning, and this has been a frequent occurrence. I would love more stop signs and/or speed humps on P Street. There are lots of little kids on my block and the blocks around us, many kids who walk to and from school down P Street. The cars go way too fast, and I would love to see more traffic calming measures on P Street.

- Staff · March 10, 2025The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed sample on P St between Chimborazo Blvd and 29th St measured 22mph. The speed sample is in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
