Description
Commonwealth ave by mary mumford. City put up “please slow down” signs but obviously that hasnt helped. There are speed cameras on grove right infront of the school. People go 50 MPH down commonwealth ave towards patterson. I live at the corner of hanover and commonwealth and have almost been hit on the way to work multiple times while attempting to get in my car. Very busy street

- Staff · February 27, 2025The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed samples on Hanover Ave and on Commonwealth Ave in the immediate area measured 14mph and 26mph respectively. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned.
