The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed samples on Sheppard St between Idlewood Ave and Maplewood Ave measured 23 mph. The speed samples are in general compliance with the 25-mph speed for residential streets and speed tables are not planned on Sheppard St between Idlewood Ave and Maplewood Ave. Sheppard St between Idlewood Ave and Maplewood Ave has all-way stops at both Idlewood and at Maplewood.
