Description
There are several pines and other trees on the city side. The bark is peeling off the tree. On Hathaway road and Montauk. the pines are going to fall into hathaway road and/or fall on our property. We requested in the past to please address this situation. They are a danger at this point Thank you & appreciate. Please review dangerous dead trees Contacted 311 by phone for follow up. Advised that staff would alert the appropriate staff. Tree is near a street light pole, also more barking following off. Concern tree will fall on our property/fence. Please note there are several dieing trees in same location. Thanks April 22,2025 Called 311 for follow up on orginial request Feburary 2025. These trees are in serious condition (dying & dead trees)there are several trees needing to be removed. As mentioned before trees will either falll on Hathaway and/or on our privacy fence and back yard. There is also a street light near trees. thank you July 9, 2025 3PM Tree now has splitted/broken in two . Midway height of tree called 311. Received email from Adm. technician on JUly 9,2025 as a copy to me. Administrative tech forwarded to two staff with Urban forestry department with concern tree is broken in two and leaning toward street. Also email asking one of the the two to contact this writer. AS of 2:3pm,today, July 10,2025, no response from the DPW of Urban Foresty team. This is a danger to all walking or driving on Hathaway road and/or falling on my fence and backyard.
