Description
We have children, elderly and disabled adults who live here. EVERY neighbor has requested this. The city conducted a "survey" and decided we can't have one. You put the "survey" in front of a house that gets about 5-7 visitors everyday so the data isn't valid. Will it take someone KILLED to get a sign????? I WFH and watch cars speed all day. PLEASE do another survey. PLEASE. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE. We all pay taxes & deserve the support that you would give someone who lives on Monument Ave.

- Staff · February 21, 2025The City of Richmond must comply with federal laws when it comes to highway signs along public streets with the use of the Federal Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). This is a national manual used by all states and localities. Signs such as an “Autistic Child” is not recognized sign by the MUTCD.
