Description

30th runs one way from Hull to Bainbridge. Despite signage at Lawson, vehicles travel on 30th against incoming traffic from Hull — often speeding! I see 10 to 20 vehicles going the wrong way EVERY DAY. You can see one in the attached Streetview! The signage is not sufficient. Please consider a speed bump or pavement markings showing WRONG WAY. Flexible bollards to narrow the street adjacent to the bank parking lot would also be helpful. There are children and handicapped adults on this block!

For E. 30th St between Hull St and Bainbridge St all of the google street view pictures show DO NOT ENTER and ONE-WAY signs at each intersecting street along this section. No signing changes are planned at this time. The 85th percentile speed, the speed that 85 percent of drivers travel at or below, is one of the best indicators of a reasonable and safe speed. The 85th percentile speed on E. 30th St between Hull St and Bainbridge St measured 16mph. Speed tables are not planned along E. 30th St.
